What are you passionate about?

Cheerleading

Why is it important to you?

Cheerleading is very important to me.  Cheer is my life.  I train every day at home and I train three times a week at the gym.  I also train and compete with and against children much older than myself.  In February this year I travelled to Atlanta, Georgia, USA, with one of my squads: Lazer Royalty and we became National Champions!  Cheer is fantastic for building confidence but most of all friendships as it is one big family.

What is your experience of life in a military family?  How many places have you lived and schools have you attended?

I love the life I have lived so far as if my Dad wasn’t in the Army I would never of found Cheer!

I have lived at:

Blackpool;

Cyprus;

Winchester;

Catterick.

During this time I have attended three nurseries and two primary schools.

Name:

Logan

Age:

9

Armed Forces Connection:  Dad is in the Army

My name is Logan and I am 9 years old.  I live in Catterick Garrison.  I feel happy and sad about the Coronavirus because the happy part is I get to spend more time with my Mum and Dad who are always at work.  My Dad works all week in the Army at York so the Coronavirus means he gets to bring his laptop home and I enjoy getting to kick the ball in the garden.  We can play fifa together and my Mum bakes cakes for us to eat all the time.  The sad part is lots of people have gone to heaven and my grandma in Scotland has been very poorly with Coronavirus which has made me and my brother cry sometimes because we don’t know if she is going to get better and we can’t go and see her.  I miss my friends and football team and hope everyone stays safe.
